Why We Volunteer at John 3:16 Mission
Carl and Rose recently moved to Tulsa from San Diego. They have been involved for a long time in mission and church activities and wanted to continue here. Rose is a retired pediatric nurse and Carl is a retired Navy corpsman. Rose volunteers at the Family & Youth Center as a tutor and teaches health and nutrition to women in recovery. Carl serves as a driver for the Women’s Program and also at the FYC on a monthly basis. Thank you Carl and Rose!
“We believe that life is precious and every day is a gift from God to be used for His glory. The Bible is full admonitions to be kind to and help those less fortunate. As is always the case, we are the ones who receive the blessing right back from those we serve!”
