Who We Are
John 3:16 Mission is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit church (unaffiliated with any denomination) that exists to share the Gospel with Tulsa’s hungry, homeless, and at-risk people while meeting their immediate physical needs for food, shelter, clothing, and safety.
The Mission is supported solely with donations from supporters (individuals, companies, foundations, churches, etc.) in the Tulsa community and beyond. This allows us to share the Gospel and administer Christ-centered relief and recovery programs in the best ways we know how without government intrusion.
The Mission adheres to the highest standards of quality of care, treating each person or client, regardless of race, gender, creed or faith background, with dignity and respect.
John 3:16 Mission also is a member of the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions (AGRM), a large affiliation of other North American ministries with similar aims and objectives.
At its heart, John 3:16 Mission is about showing Biblical hospitality, care, generosity, and above all, love to those whom Christ called “the least of these…my brothers and sisters” (Matthew 25:35).
