About the Refuge:
The Refuge is John 3:16 Mission’s largest campus, located northwest of downtown Tulsa. This campus is home to our men’s recovery program (New Creation), housed in the renovated former Choteau Elementary School. The Hardesty Renew Building is home to our women’s recovery program (Renew) and our day program for women experiencing homelessness (Refresh). The newly completed Service Center and Vocational Training houses our administrative staff as well as classrooms and spaces for work experience for our recovery students.
The Refuge campus is located on 150 beautiful acres and is home to a working farm and ranch, both of which supply food for our Mission kitchens and work experience for our recovery students.
Thanks to our generous donors, construction is underway on the final phase of our new Distribution Center opening in early 2025. The completion of the Refuge campus will vastly increase our abilities to serve Tulsans in need and help them build a future for their families!
