It’s an exciting season of growth and momentum at John 3:16 Mission with the expansion of facilities and programs. With the appointment of new Mission CEO Rev. Steven M. Whitaker, we’re planning for the future of the Mission while reflecting on our core values. We’re solidifying our commitment to the best aspects of our heritage, and we’re moving forward in innovative ways.
As a symbol of this time of measured and optimistic change, we’re excited to introduce a new John 3:16 Mission logo. The modernized and visually pleasing design is more than aesthetic; it’s also a chance to restate the Gospel’s centrality to our work. The cross in our logo holds, at its center, a heart, a sentiment echoed
in the Bible verse that defines us: “For God so LOVED the word…” [emphasis ours].
You’ll also see a subtle overlay of a Tulsa map in some of our new branding, which stresses our commitment to the renewal of our city, through our care of those experiencing homelessness and poverty.
”The brand refresh at John 3:16 Mission pictures the heart of the Mission. We hope to convey that love in the context of the cross is central (the heart) of everything we do,” says Whitaker.
