Take an inside look at one of the sweetest days of the year at John 3:16 Mission. From opening the hives to extracting fresh honey, this video gives you a behind-the-scenes look at how our staff and residential recovery students brought in our largest honey harvest in Mission history, totaling more than 700 pounds!
Our beekeeping program is about so much more than honey. It provides students with hands-on work experience, practical job skills, confidence, and purpose as they continue their recovery journey and prepare for a brighter future. Every harvest tells a story of growth, perseverance, and lives being restored. We hope you’ll enjoy this behind-the-scenes look at the process.
