The John 3:16 Mission Family Youth Center held its annual Easter Family Picnic. More than 250 people were in attendance during the event. The weather was perfect for all the games, carnival rides and activities set out for the families to enjoy. FYC Pastor Roosevelt cooked burgers and hotdogs during the event leaving everyone with smiles on their faces.
Parents also enjoyed the event and got to watch as their children had faces painted, raced for prizes. “This has become a great event for our families and those in the community to come together and do life,” said FYC Director Brian Bost.
This year’s Easter Egg Hunt had more than 2,000 Easter eggs filled with candy spread across a field at the FYC. On the count of three, children of all ages ran out to grab as many eggs as they could to fill their baskets to cap off an unforgettable Easter Day.
