This summer, we brought a little holiday cheer to the ballpark with our second annual Christmas in July Gift Drive—this time, bigger and better.
Partnering with the Tulsa Drillers, our team at John 3:16 stepped up our efforts to promote this special initiative, which empowers parents in our community to purchase Christmas gifts at highly discounted prices. It’s all about preserving dignity and pride while helping families in need experience the joy of the holidays through a shopping experience.
During our Friday night game, hundreds of fans got to learn more about the gift drive and the heart behind it. Our very own Family & Youth Center Director, Brian Bost, took the field for an interview to share how this program is making a difference for Tulsa families and he even got to throw the first pitch!
And of course, no Christmas event is complete without a visit from Santa himself, who was on hand for festive photos ops. We’re grateful to everyone who has supported the gift drive so far.
