At John 3:16 Mission, we believe that becoming the person God intends you to be is a life-long journey of learning. We offer life skills classes in several of our programs to give participants opportunities to grow.

Cooperative Learning Classes
At the Family and Youth Center, believe that the foundation of our community rests on the success of local families. We want your children to grow up in a safe environment, equipped for living fulfilling lives. Our Cooperative Learning Classes are a great way to strengthen your family and hone your skills in key areas.
Classes for adults are held the 2nd Monday of the month at the FYC, and you’ll learn more about budgeting, healthy living, parenting, and more. Regular attendees get a special gift card toward the end of the year, as well as priority access to Summer Kids Camp, after-school tutoring, Thanksgiving boxes, Mission Market, and other resources.
Recovery Life Skills Classes
In our residential recovery programs for women (Renew) and men (New Creation), students take part in life-changing classes on a wide range of topics designed to give students abundant opportunities for healing and growth.
We have classes on dealing with family-of-origin issues, anger management, resume building, choosing friends, thriving as a single person, health and wellness, and much more.
We also offer light-hearted classes that introduce students to therapeutic skills and hobbies such as art and gardening.
