Gifts in Kind
We all have something we can give!
Gifts in kind are simply donations of goods instead of direct monetary gifts. Our most urgent in-kind donation need is vehicles in basic working condition. These vehicles are essential parts of our residential recovery programs; as students transition in full-time employment, transportation
is a critical need. We also rely heavily on in-kind gifts of household
goods and clothing for our Mission Goods store, which is a resource to those coming out of homelessness and other families in need.
You will receive a donation receipt from us for your in-kind giving. No actual dollar value is assigned for gift-in-kind donations–you will determine this with your tax professional.

While donating to the Mission today improves the lives of those currently experiencing homelessness, some of the most impactful contributions occur when thoughtful people invest the time to prepare for donations in the future. Making a gift to the Mission in your will (or other estate document) is a powerful way to honor God and stands as an enduring testament to your faith and belief that others deserve hope for a better life.
Giving Appreciated Assets
The donation of appreciated assets (stocks, mutual funds, real estate, etc.) are also valuable tools to fund the ongoing effort to utilize God’s resources while potentially providing tax benefits above and beyond traditional cash donations. While these donations may seem more complicated than traditional contributions, our experienced team can help demystify the process and provide you confidence that your intentions will be carried out even in your absence.

FINANCIAL INTEGRITY
John 3:16 Mission is dedicated to the highest level of financial stewardship of your donations. We are audited annually and are members in good standing with the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) which requires high standards of financial management.
We want to make sure every dollar you donate has the impact you intend, providing relief, hope, and transformation to the most vulnerable people in our community. Our financial documents are provided below.
