Homelessness can be particularly dangerous for women because they are more vulnerable to physical and sexual assault. That's why our Women's Ministry offers single, homeless women a daytime refuge inside the Mission shelter at 506 N. Cheyenne Ave. This Day Room is a friendly, supportive place where struggling women can encounter Christ's love and also receive practical assistance to help get their lives heading in a positive direction.

Assistance includes:

• Case management
• Feeding and daytime shelter
• Biblical therapeutic counseling
• Limited benevolences, such as bus tokens
• Help finding medical care, food, employment, housing and documentation

Homeless and at-risk are welcome to visit the Day Room, Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
